These terms govern the subscription to Korem, offered by Mathieu Corne, sole trader trading as OpaleCrest (SIREN 943 061 820), 50 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
Korem is a subscription to private software that keeps the contacts, the attentions and the milestones its member records there, and applies the means required to warn them ahead of the dates they have entered.
The subscription also gives access to the corner, where the partner houses and their creations are presented. Those creations are sold by those houses at their own retail price: the subscription includes none of them and gives no right to any discount. Every proposition addressed to you carries the words "at Korem's initiative".
The service changes over time: we may add or withdraw features. Should the service stop for good, your subscription is terminated and any sums corresponding to a period not begun will be refunded to you.
Korem is private software that keeps and gives back information. It is neither an advisory service, nor an intermediation service, nor a sales service, on the terms set out in the "Nature of the service" article of the terms of use.
The Korem subscription, under its currently offered founding offer, is €249 a month, the total amount owed by the subscriber (VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code). This founding offer carries an initial twelve (12) month commitment, renewed automatically each month thereafter with no minimum term.
The founding offer described in the "Subscription and price" article carries a twelve (12) month commitment. Its progress is visible at any time from your Korem space, together with the date of the next charge and the history of payments already made.
If you cancel before the end of this commitment, the balance of the monthly payments remaining until its end is charged to you in a single payment, after which your subscription ends. This amount is shown to you before you confirm the cancellation.
After this twelve-month period, the subscription continues by automatic monthly renewal, with no minimum term, cancellable at any time under the conditions set out in the "Renewal and cancellation" article.
A different offer proposed by Korem at a later time may carry different terms, set out at its own subscription; this article applies only to the founding offer described above.
The first month is invoiced and charged immediately on subscription, with no trial period. Each following month is charged at the start of the period concerned, by automatic renewal, until cancellation. Payment is handled by Stripe; we do not keep your card number.
In accordance with articles L. 221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, you have fourteen (14) days from your subscription to exercise your right of withdrawal, with no reason to give and at no cost. To exercise it, use the online withdrawal form from your space, or write to us at contact@opalecrest.com. Your subscription then ends immediately and the refund is made within fourteen (14) days of your request.
Because you expressly requested, when subscribing, that Korem be opened to you without waiting for that period to end, you remain liable for the part corresponding to the period already elapsed, calculated pro rata to the monthly price (article L. 221-25 of the French Consumer Code). The balance is refunded to you.
After that fourteen-day period, the subscription falls under cancellation: it ends when the current period expires, with no refund of it.
Any feedback you choose to share on why you are leaving is welcome but entirely optional: it has no bearing whatsoever on your refund.
After the initial commitment applicable to the founding offer, mentioned in the "Commitment under the founding offer" article, your subscription renews automatically each month, with no minimum term. In accordance with article L. 215-1-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may cancel at any time, at no cost and electronically, as simply as you subscribed. You may also write to us at contact@opalecrest.com.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no further charge is made after that.
Korem is provided as it is. We apply reasonable means to keep it working, available and secure, without guaranteeing that its features are free of errors, complete, or accessible without interruption. The same holds for the service itself: we undertake to apply the diligence required to warn the member of the dates they have entered and to present them the creations of the partner houses, without guaranteeing that a proposition meets their expectation.
We cannot be held liable for damage resulting from an event of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code, nor from a use of the service that does not comply with these terms or with the documentation provided.
Korem is a digital service within the meaning of articles L. 224-25-1 and following of the French Consumer Code. As such, it must conform to the description we give of it and to the uses you may legitimately expect of it. In the event of a lack of conformity, you may require it be brought into conformity at no cost, and failing that obtain a reduction in price or the rescission of the contract, on the terms provided by law. This legal guarantee applies independently of any other guarantee.
How your data is processed is described in our privacy policy.
